is some information about BILLY. As a friend I am writing this because
Billy keeps things about himself pretty quiet and is not one for
saying too much, so here goes! He is a great guy to know and be
around. He is charming, affable, extremely generous and very funny,
and will talk for ever on any subject as long as it's not him, he is
also considerably humble for his, might I say, great talent as a
singer.
He has had many an accolade bestowed upon him by ‘star’ names in the
past, and recording success etc but does not publicise it or really
talk about it. Billy on the whole tends to be a pretty 'private'
person. I know he has met, played alongside, and is friends with, some
of the 'top' in the business, but, he just has this ‘thing’ about
‘name dropping’, he says, personally, he has never put a lot of
attention on it.
Billy worked very hard in the past for the success he received, but he
told me whatever his success was, or what he did or didn’t achieve
should stay where it belongs, in the past. What he is doing right now
is the most important thing. He said 'I ‘rested’ for quite a while.
Well, I’m back to work, so I’d better get doing my job’.
If you meet him I know you will immediately like him; I did! And he
has become a true and trusted friend. I'm sure he will welcome warmly
many, many new friends. BILLY works as a 'solo' (self contained) using
specially engineered 'tracks' and also with various jazz combos and
upwards from there.
He is much sought after just now for PRIVATE FUNCTIONS, CORPORATES and
SPECIALS which are by invitation only and this is now taking up most
of his time. He will however, possibly in the NEW YEAR be TOURING but
this has not yet been decided. It will be POSTED if and when this
comes about.
Apart from being without a doubt, one of the BEST SINGERS around in
his field bar none, did I mention that Billy is also a talented actor.
no? Well he is! He has appeared in TV drama and Film for some years in
'character' roles.
